On this page you will find information on becoming a member of Dog Guide Handlers Australia, a membership form that can be completed on-line, a downloadable membership form, and options for paying your membership.
Membership of DGHA is in two categories;
- Full Membership:
Any Australian who is blind or vision impaired, who uses a dog guide.
“Dog Guide Handler” includes any Australian resident who currently uses a dog guide, past dog guide handlers, handlers who are in between dog guides, and are awaiting a replacement dog, any person registered as a client of a dog guide school to receive a dog guide, or any person exercising as an owner-trainer, who has an accredited dog guide. - Associate Membership:
Any other person who is sighted, blind or vision impaired, who supports the objectives of DGHA.
We encourage employees of dog guide organisations to join, trainers, instructors and puppy raisers are welcome.

To join DGHA, please complete the on-line membership form below. Alternatively, download a DGHA Membership Form (RTF format) and submit it with the applicable membership fee.
The cost of membership to join DGHA is a once only payment, for lifetime membership.
Full Membership: $20.00.
Associate Membership: $10.00.
